DOES AN AUTOMATIC SCREW MACHINE OPERATOR DO?
The Automatic Screw Machine Operator, after
installing material and
tools appropriate to his/her skill level, operates one or more
automatic
screw machines to produce parts that meet specifications. The
Automatic
Screw
Machine Operator checks produced parts regularly until the
required number of parts have been produced. Operators are graded
according to the complexity of work and the number of tools that
they
can competently handle.

products industry, most recently at Calumet Screw Machine Products in Mokena,
Illinois.

DOCUMENTS
REQUIRED TO QUALIFY FOR TUITION GRANT:

Proof of Address (Gas Bill, Light Bill, Telephone Bill)

Proof of Citizenship (Voter's Registration Card) or Alien Registration

Registration for Selective Service
7.
Proof of Income for the last 6 months: check stubs, TANF authorization and letter
of support from persons or organizations providing for your living expenses
STEPS
TO ENROLL:
1.
Attend an IMF Orientation session.
2.
Complete an IMF Application for Admission.
3.
Complete the Test of Basic Education & Bennett Mechanical
Comprehension Test.
4.
Interview with a member of the IMF staff.
5.
Provide all required documentation.
6.
Complete the Enrollment Agreement.
IMF
reserves the right to make the final determination for acceptance into the
program.
